It is available for $59.99 USD on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. This edition includes the game itself without any special pre-order bonuses or additional add-ons. However, for players who want to enjoy NBA 2K24 in the highest possible definition on next-generation consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the Kobe Bryant Edition is available for $69.99. Apart from the price difference, there are no variations in content or features between the Kobe Bryant Edition across different platform generations.
The 25th Aniversary Edition
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the NBA 2K franchise, NBA 2K24 offers a special edition called the 25th Anniversary Edition, which is the most extensive release of the game. The cover features a design resembling an NBA championship ring with the "25th Anniversary Edition" logo. Priced at $149.99, this edition has limited availability and can only be purchased until September 10, 2023. It is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, but unfortunately not on the Nintendo Switch.
The 25th Anniversary Edition includes several notable features and bonuses. It comes with a 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass, which allows players to stream live and on-demand NBA games and coverage. In terms of in-game content, players who purchase this edition receive enhanced MyTEAM rewards compared to the Black Mamba Edition. They start the game with a substantial 100,000 in-game virtual currency and 50,000 MyTEAM points. Additionally, they receive a Sapphire Kobe Bryant Card from the 24 era, as well as a Ruby Kobe Bryant Rookie Card.
The 25th Anniversary Edition also includes the 2K24 Option Pack Box, 10 MyTEAM Promo Packs, a Diamond Shoe, a Ruby Coach, and a two-hour Double XP Coin. Pre-ordering the Black Mamba Edition grants players 100,000 units of in-game virtual currency to enhance their experience.
