NBA 2K26 File Explorer (Search & Export 2K Resources) V2.0

NBA 2K26 File Explorer (Search & Export 2K Resources) V2.0

  Description

This tool is used to browse, find and export NBA2K resource files
Only supports NBA 2K26

Instructions for use:
This exe file can be placed anywhere. When running it for the first time, select or drag the Game catalog or games exe into the software to open an NBA2K game directory.

Select a file and right-click to export it. You can also set export path preferences, including whether to transcode the file when exporting, etc.
The functions are the same as the file browser of 2k25. Compared with the file browser of 2k25:

Fixed a bug where searching for objects during model preview could cause the preview page to disappear due to errors.

Fixed a bug where duplicate files would still be overwritten when selected.
When building a large zip file, compress and write it in batches to reduce memory usage.

Added the right-click function to export files export as, which is convenient for temporarily using different export methods.

When exporting multiple files in batches, the progress bar now displays the total progress instead of an infinite progress bar.

FAQ:
Q: Why does my exported file have an iff file extension instead of a zip file?
A: Exporting an iff file is correct. Although it uses the zip encoding, the file extension remains iff. 2k itself uses the iff file extension. When exporting files, the file browser automatically converts the file to the zip format for easier editing and viewing (2k mods support reading zip-formatted iff files). Therefore, you only need to treat the exported iff file as a zip file. You can open the iff file with 7zip; the suffix is only part of the file name and does not affect the actual format/encoding of the file.

Version: 2.0
A new file browsing method is used for VCUIELEMENT files to preview the entire file (the upper half is a JSON string, the lower half is a binary file), and support directly exporting the decoded complete VCUIELEMENT from IFF.

- Fixed the bug in 1.0 where the VCUIELEMENT file was not exported completely.
- Fixed a bug in 1.0 where some iffs could not be decoded properly because some iffs used different formats.
